Progress, book, and the future

Wow, I'm amazed at how well this is doing. We're averaging around 30 views a day, we've crossed the 600 mark (by more than 35), and we're still not even two months old.

Since 12/12/12, there has been a new story posted EVERY DAY. I'm hoping to continue on that schedule for as long as I can. If you keep asking, I'll keep writing.

So I tried to think how to tell a story about financial domination in a pretty extreme way, but consensual and realistic.

There's something about writing in the second person that feels dirtier to me. It's like letting out some fantasy mistress to come out and play. Maybe it's just that it feels more specifically like I'm writing something for someone to masturbate to. I don't know.

This is a new one for me. It's a sequel, but the third part is not written for the same person as parts one and two. So it's a sequel in the sense of the same story, but not the same audience.

I hope it works, and I hope the new audience likes it. I hope the old one does too, for the record.

So I looked up the story. Not the Disney version, the original. It's been a wild month. Yes, that's right. Month. This blog has existed now for all of one month, and I consider it a pretty wild success so far. More than 325 views in a single month is pretty damned awesome.

So thank you all for reading so far.

I'm still always looking for requests and inspiration. Right now, I've got two main paths I want to take, and they are practically diametrically opposed:

1. Dark, evil, not realistic. This would include stories about demons, monsters, vampires, werewolves, aliens, whatever. It also includes topics like cannibalism, human trafficking, whatever. These will not be for the faint of heart, and will not be safe, sane, or always consensual. I will probably post disclaimers with these.

2. Realistic, with characterization. These would be stories where we not only have the scenario, but actually care WHY things turn people on, what they feel, and who they are as people, not just as actors in a pornographic story.

If you've got an idea that fits one of these, please let me know in the comments.
