Okay, maybe you weren't thinking that. I was. I chose this setting not because I like football, but because I like the idea that sex play can happen whenever people want it to. However they want it to. And I chose the superbowl because it's coming up soon. As for me not even liking football... I DID have to google who was playing. And then again to find out where the Ravens were from.

Today's request let me use a piece of a equipment that I really, really wish I had. One that costs more than some cars, that I would love to at least try, but have never had the opportunity.

It also brings up a point about consent: consent involves EVERYONE in the scene. If someone doesn't know what's going on, they don't consent. (that'll make sense at the end of the story). That's why I don't like public scenes. The other people in public didn't consent to be a part of it. (play parties are different; everyone knows what they're getting into).

Consent can sometimes be a troubling part of writing a fantasy. I don't write things that aren't consensual, even though I know that it's a fantasy, and hence isn't really happening. So instead, I write consensual non-consent. But it's sometimes difficult to do that, to get that message across, without detracting from the story. Today, I tried being a bit more subtle. Hopefully, the message still came as much as the characters did.

I sure hope other people think I'm as funny as I think I am. This story has a bit of tongue-in-cheek feel (and without rimming!) that I really enjoyed.

This is NOT a pilot story, or a story about an angel. It's a different kind of wings. ;)

Today's entry is a bit short, but I've had a long day, so I hope you'll forgive the brevity. I wasn't entirely sure how to start this story, so I went with second person. It's weird how easily those come to me.

This story developed very differently than I expected. Initially, I was going to have the main character be a vampire, then a vampire hunter, then a normal person. Then the vamp would be the top, the human the bottom. Then they would both be vamps. Eventually, I settled on the vamp masochist and the human sadist. But I liked both perspectives. So what to do?

I did them both. I don't usually like switching narrators mid-story, but it was fun to experiment with this.

Today's story is not for the faint of heart. It involves torture to a level that goes way beyond safe and sane (but remains consensual). Hopefully, I didn't go too far. As I said to someone earlier, it's a fine line between "wow, that's hot" and "hey, didn't Eli Roth direct that?"

Hopefully, I stayed on the good side of the line.

Some interesting stuff has happened today.

First off, two of the stories (Beg Me and A Family Christmas) from the blog have been published in someone else's anthology. You can see the anthology, or buy it, or whatever. It is published on Smashwords, and it's called Just the Tip.

Secondly, today is the most popular day Erotica By Request has ever had, with over 300 hits.

Thirdly, book one has been revised. Book two will have its physical copy completed soon.
